Lakonan bersahaja Shaheizy Sam memang memukau. Selalunya kita dilayarkan cerita bagaimana seorang gadis yang berjaya menawan hati jejaka tampan yang poket penuh duit tapi ini sebaliknya... Filem komedi romantik beraksi ini merupakan filem kedua Korea yang saya tonton dalam tahun ini. Filem ini cuba lari daripada norma kehidupan dengan menonjolkan watak seorang wanita sebagai pengintip professional yang lasak manakala watak lelakinya sebagai penyokong.
Dah nama pun citer Korea, jadi filem ini Korean style lah! I am recommending it!
Storm Warriors II
Tak silap saya, filem pertama Storm Warriors ialah 14 tahun lalu dan saya menontonnya dengan penuh kagum. Namum, jangkaan saya meleset apabila menonton filem ini. Disebalik CGI dan penataan bunyi yang bagus serta kostum yang memukau, jalan cerita SWII gagal memberi impak seperti filem pertamanya. Watak2 gagal dikembangkan dengan baik kerana pengarah seperti mahu kita sudah faham jalan cerita dan watak filem ini seperti 14 tahun lalu tapi sebenarnya ramai sudah lupa atau mungkin baru dengan cerita ini. Apapun, saya suka akan gerakan aksi lawan 'slow-mo' ala2 cerita Matriks pulak... If you like CGI movies just like 300, go and get the DVD then!
Alvin and the Chipmunks : The Squeakquel
Once you get past the novelty of squeaky voiced animated rodents, there's really not much there. So this movie's straight-line, A to B to C story but the kids will love it!!!!!
A good way to entertain your kids on a matinée...

Alahai pari'bang'.... filem ini sepatutnya dikeluarkan dalam bentuk telefilem sahaja. Bagi sebuah filem ia amat mengecewakan... jalan cerita dan mesej yang ntah apa-apa...
Namun, tabik kepada para pelakun sebab menjayakan watak masing2 dengan bagus sekali.
The Twilight Saga : New Moon
Take out the vampires and the werewolves, this is just a plain love story. But the hunky vampires and the werewolves were the reason why I am watching this hehehehe

The Hurt Locker
This is a Hollywood propaganda war movie. No adrenalin rush needed. Why the movie won Best Film Award? Probably to endorse USA a the world police?? I like Saving Private Ryan much better!
Astro Boy
Awesome animation, since The Incredibles and Meet the Robinsons. Actors doing excellent voice over. Astro Boy is really a must see for kids and adults too! ;)
Cirque du Freak : The Vampire's Assistant
I didn't read the book so I won't know how the real story is according to the book. Overall, I would rate this movie as a B with A- in acting. The guy played Darren was boring! But the old Vampires were smashing! The story is okay but the editing was noticeably poor, it didn't flow and it was jumpy at times.
Don't worry... you can watch this with your kids, there are no extreme scenes for them.
The Princess and The Frog
This is the first Disney movie featuring an African-American princess. It has a great twist on a classic story, characters that develop thoroughly and music that had me tapping my foot and wishing I was in New Orleans.
A definite watching for the kids!
Ip Man 2
I love the fighting since between Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung on the table. The hands are moving so fast that you cant even see where it hit the opponents. Fuyoooo!!! wa kena respect la nih taiko martial arts! I am definitely gonna buy the DVD.
p/s : watched the movie at the cinema with my gal friends, they cried... action movie is also able to move people's heart, I will keep note on that.
Old Dogs
Another Disney movie that is so good during Father's Day hehehee It doesn't matter how old your are or how well you achieve the corporate ladder... family comes first!!!!
Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes fans and books lover will definitely be displeased. This Sherlock Holmes is sometimes a bit too 'ambiguously gay' and had an annoying modern-like personality, he continued to be funny, strange and as intelligent as I thought Sherlock should be. Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law did a good job in character development. I could feel the character growing and empathy doses rushing through me. I like the plot, it keep me gripping as Sir Artur Conan Doyle's books does to me...
Recommended viewing from me! Bought the DVD so that I could re watch it hehehe :)

Poster cerita nih memang gah tapi alangkah baiknya kalau ceritanya segah poster tersebut huhuhu Farid Kamil sepatutnya memilih genre romantik sebagai filem sulungnya.

Alice in Wonderland
This is a child story. Period. You cant turn child's play to Iron Man, do you? so just let the child inside you enjoy the story for a while. Johnny Depp is good as ever so does Helena Bonham Carter. I simply love their acting!
So grab the DVD fast!!!!!

I have to say that this is the best Korean drama I ever see. The actors are good but the plot are easy and cliche, still you can feel it at heart.

Merantau Warrior
The storyline isn't much to behold naturally. But to see a martial artist that acts, it is something different.
It may not be perfect but the movie is establishing a new action hero that promoting the form of martial arts in Silat.

Drama Korea nih seakan2 ada persamaan dengan plot dan pengakhiran cerita yang sungguh dapat diagak. Namun, drama ini ada daya tarikan tersendiri penuh dengan gaya dan budaya orang Korea. Sebab itulah saya suka menonton drama2 nih... mungkin boleh senaraikan Korea sebagai destinasi pelancongan saya hehehe Now I wonder how kimchi taste like...
