Pencil: I'm sorry....
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)


I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way... they get hurt and become smaller (older and eventually pass on). Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying or sad.

Actually eraser vs pencil situation in not only happen on parenting but also as part of our daily life. Our marriage life and our working life as well. Think about it... That is why Prophet Muhamad remind us if we are angry, we sit if standing, stand if sitting, do the opposite basically just to cool down our hot temperature :)

Probably I have rambled this before but then again, human needs constant reminding huh? me too... :P accept people we are dealing with as their are, think of the situation solutions and concentrate on their strength rather than their weaknesses. Next action is to forgive them. Easier said than done, I know but heyyyyy... I have done it, with difficulty of course, the result... I sleep better at night and calmer in my reaction. Try it! Be a good eraser! :))

Politikus yang kotor...

Saya sebenarnya memilih untuk tidak membicarakan perihal politik negara di ruangan peribadi saya ini, atas alasan :

• ~ Bosan, muak dan meluat dengan perangai dan perilaku ahli politik baik team A mahupun team B.
• ~ Tak ada seorangpun pemimpin yang berjuang untuk mengurangkan harga barangan keperluan ; makanan terutamanya.
• ~ Nak termuntah tahap gaban bila isteri dia lebih tunjuk power daripada YB tu sendiri :P

Tapi email daripada seorang sahabat yang saya terima baru sebentar tadi membuat saya tersentak dan terkedu. Bukan sahaja terkena batang hidung ahli politik semua, kita pun sama boleh ambil ikhtibar daripadanya.

Bila Allahyarham Tun Razak , Allahyarham Tun Hussein, Tun Dr Mahathir dan lain2 pejuang Islam/Melayu membuka ruang peningkatan melalui program Sosio Ekonomi dan Pendidikan kepada anak anak bangsa kita menerusi pelbagai agensi, Alhamdulillah mulai era 90an kemajuan orang kita mulai bercambah.

1. Pemimpin tidak Memimpin dirinya sendiri, gagal meletakkan Allah ditempat Pertama; diikuti dengan Rasulullah dan keluarganya
2.Tidak memiliki Ilmu memahami keutamaan.
3. Tidak bebas atau dilihat daripada melakukan dosa besar dan dosa kecil.
4. Tidak Mempunyai jiwa agama dan gagal menjaga amanah bangsa.
(Baca butiran dlm rencana tersebut).

Berkata benar walaupun pahit . Jika UMNO mahu meneruskan legasinya pada PRU 13 dan mas depan: pemoimpin dan ahli UMNO tidak ada pilihan melainkan mesti dpt dilihat bersih, cekap, amanah dan dpt dilihat melaksanakan ciri ciri. Kepimpinan Islam.

Pesanan Dr Mohd Ridhuan Tee itu, bukan saya peringatan untuk ameno tapi boleh diambil sebagai panduan oleh kita juga.

• + Letakkan Allah tempat pertama
• + Jadikan Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai role model kita dan keluarga terutama anak2
• + Buat dan sangka baik setiap masa ; mak saya pesan bila berbicara, cerita yang baik2 sahaja hatta ianya berkenaan musuh kita sekalipun (ampun mak, saya masih gagal dalam bab nih...)
• + Tingkatkan ilmu dan kaitkan ilmu itu dengan Islam keseluruhannya
• + Sekurang2nya ingat tentang kematian sekali dalam sehari

Mudah2an Allah membantu kita dalam hal ini...

tahun nih markah Ramadan aku adalah yang paling buruk, sedeynya... aku tak leka, cuma gagal untuk menyusun masa dengan lebih baik antara kerja, business, keluarga dan ibadah. Aaahhhh... Ya Allah ampunilah daku...

Pejam celik dah masuk bulan Ogos!

Pejam celik! Pejam celik! dah masuk bulan Ogos! cepat sungguh masa berlalu kan? Tak lama lagi dah bulan Ramadhan... saya ada banyak cerita tertunda yang akan dikongsikan dan mudah2an ada sedikit kelapangan untuk menulisnya. Sudah lama saya tidak menulis luahan perasaan, rindu pula rasanya... hehehehe

Bulan Julai memang menyesakkan saya dengan mengelola majlis syarikat dan menghantar kertas kerja Masters... tapi hidup tanpa cabaran pasti membosankan kan? kan? kan? :))

hari ini saya sedang merangka kerja2 yang bakal saya lakukan sehingga bukan Disember dan masyallah, it is a long list! That lists include my long desire in writing short stories and this time purposely writing romance (after watching too many Korean drama, I guess hahahahaha).

A few movie reviews, the story of a big Taiwan mango and my company family day will see you after this. Keep reaching for the stars!!!!!

I am facing multi challenges from my studies so please do'a for me that I am strong enough to swim the strong current with sharks looking and waiting to bite me if I fall... huhuhu

Nota santai - Dalam masa 2 minggu nih saya puluh siapkan 3 assignments termasuk group assignments dimana seorang ahli kumpulan telah meninggalkan saya terkontang kanting keseorangan menyiapkan semua perkara. Saya redho dan saya mohon agar ilmu yang diperolehi diberkati dan kepada member sorang tu, apasal lu give up???? kalau cabaran nih tak boley nak handle, macam mana yang lain??? kami pun ada masalah gak... ni lah masanya untuk kita upgrade iman dan amal kita!!!!!

Minggu depannya saya akan menghadapi peperiksaan semester dan mudah2an Allah permudahkan urusannya untuk saya. Jadi kalau sahabat2 menjenguk disini dan sepi sahaja rumah ini :) that means a dedicated student is studying hehehehe

Wah... 3x tahun baru nih aku dah buat hair treatment, manicure and a good aromatherapy massage... yipeeee!!!!! Seronoknya membelai diri sendiri kan????

Tidak seperti tahun-tahun sebelum ini, aku rasakan cabaran inilah merupakan cabaran akhir tahun yang hebat baik bagi kerjaya mahupun peribadi. Aku sedang melalui masa2 susah dalam hidup di mana ramai yang bergantung harapan kepadaku dan mengharapkan yang terbaik daripadanya. Macam mana nih??? Masa untuk diri sendiri pun tiada, alahai...

Teringat pesanan seorang sahabat online, ntah bila boleh berjumpa bertentangan mata dengan dia nih... terlalu secretive... oi!!! pompuan la... bukan lelaki terakhir malaya!! Katanya zikir lah... zikir tu macam pakai toner kat muka, refreshing!!!!

A letter of appeal to Malaysians Politicians.

.

Dear Malaysian Politicians,

Please stop the power chase, call for a truce and focus on the economy.

I do not claim to speak on behalf of all Malaysians, but I have strong convictions that many share my sentiments.

Our concern today is not who rules the country or heads the state governments but the looming bad economy.

Whether Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat leads, it is meaningless if Malaysians have no job to go to, no money to pay rent and no means to put food on the table.

I am a business owner, like other business owners and managers of corporations I have a responsibility to ensure people under my care and payroll continue to have jobs and a decent income to take home. We work hard and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our nation not only survive this crisis but come out stronger and wiser. We need your help.

Let me explain. I am in the business of Training, Development and Consultancy and have 20 people in my team.

Saedah is 42. She keeps the office clean and helps organise the training rooms. She has four children and her husband is unemployed. She was first hired on a part time basis, because she is very hard working and has a great attitude, we offered her a full time job to help provide a stable income for her family. Even then, when her third child started school this year, it was a struggle for her to buy new school uniforms and other necessities. Saedah lives on a ‘kais bulan, makan bulan’ basis, so, if she is jobless, her tap runs dry.

Samsuri is 27 years old. He lives with his sister and her family in a low cost government flat in Sunway. He does our despatch, helps with various clerical works and occasionally acts as a driver. During the first week at zubedy, we learned that he not only did not have money to buy new clothes and shoes for work, he had no money for lunch. Like Saedah, if he has no job, his tap runs dry too.

Alicia in Client Servicing turns 26 this year. She lives with her dad who is 71 years old and retired. Her mom passed away when she was little. Alicia is a hard-working team member, has a gentle caring outlook and fun to be with. (We like to poke fun at her as she blushes easily). Last May her dad went through a major operation, thank God he has recovered well. Alicia needs a job, both for herself and her dad.

Sudesh, 38, is one of our facilitators. When his father passed away last year, he moved back and lives with his mother in Seremban. He shuttles between Kuala Lumpur and Seremban daily, leaving home sometimes as early as 4 in the morning and returning late at night. He is no stranger to hard work and sacrifice, he knows what he needs to do to survive and to care for his mother, but he too needs a job.

Like fellow Malaysians, every one of us in zubedy needs employment, those that live from hand to mouth like Saedah and Samsuri and others like Alicia and Sudesh with family to care for. We Malaysians need the Malaysian economy to be strong. We need you, our leaders, to work hard and to work together to make our economy viable.

So this is my plea.

Pakatan Rakyat, please stop your attempts to take over the federal government and persuade BN’s lawmakers to join you. Stop all legal proceedings, no more 916 and let go, just let go. The nation can wait till the next general elections if they want change. By doing so, Malaysians will see your party as caring, unselfish and gracious and give you their support in the next elections.

Barisan Nasional, please stop any attempts to take over PR states and win over PR’s lawmakers. You have proven your point with Perak. The nation can wait for the next general elections if they want your party. Focus all your talent, energy and hard work in steering the country out of an economic downturn. By doing so, Malaysians will see your party as caring, unselfish and smart and give you their support in the next elections.

BN and PR! Call for a truce. Get together and compromise. Someone has to give in. Or has hate consumed your heart till it blinds you? You can do it. You have enough intelligent people between you. I am sure you can find solutions. Take the nation to heart. That is why you are in politics in the first place.

Focus on the people.

Focus on the economy.
