Pejam celik pejam celik kita dah masuk ke 2 minggu terakhir bagi tahun ini. Apa yang telah terjadi dalam tahun ini? Tak perlu kita bercerita hal dunia... cerita hal diri sendiri dulu. Adakah kita telah mencapai tahap yang kita azamkan? Atau masih membina istana atas kayangan? Tepuk dada tanya iman? Meningkatkah iman kita atau semakin lalok dengan godaan yang melalaikan?

Tak mengapa... nanti kita bercerita tentang itu kemudian. Saya hanya ingin masukkan entri ringkas malam ini. Mengantuk pulak... hehehe

The Happening

The movie was directed and co-produced by M. Night Syamalan. I like his style and still remember and love to watch The Sixth Sense, The Sign and The Village. Thou Lady in The Water is quite shameful, I thought The Happening is going to be better but... poorly written script... aiya...

.

Mark Wahlberg looked hard to deal with his character as if he is forced to act the way he acted in this movie. Poor thing... This film is simple, too simple with the intention of Twilight Zone feeling but it failed to twilighted me. It has flawed and awkward characters who don't always say the smoothest thing.

If you wanna appreciate the movie, it's up to you to be able to slow down and feel the emotions. Overall... The Happening is not happening at all...

Tapi dalam pada itu saya sempat membayangkan sekiranya dunia terjadi seperti jalan cerita The Hapenning ini. Apa yang kita akan lakukan? Adakah iman dapat menyelamatkan kita? Adakah kita bersedia untuk itu?

.

Buat masa ini, yang paling cikai kita boleh buat ialah berpegang pada tali Allah dan kitar semula... recycle, reuse, reduce...

UiTM untuk bukan bumiputra dan pilihanraya kecil Permatang Pauh

memang ada banyak perkara nak cerita tapi adikku kenduri kawin punya pasal, kakak pengantin ni sibuk bukan main tambahan pula keadaan kesihatan yang tidak memuaskan. kena mintak maaf banyak2 dengan Boss sebab seminggu dua nih memang aku menyusahkan dia... mudah2an dia tak amik hati walaupun ku tahu dia tak suka makan hati... :P

asalnya aku leka dok baca email berantai dari group taman perumahan aku pasai nak buka kemasukan pelajar bukan bumiputra ke UITM. pendapat saya??? bukak ajer... baru tahu langit tinggi ke rendah. tapi... mengikut pandangan aku yang mata 4 nih ada dua isu utama dalam perkara ini 1. sistem pelajaran UITM 2. politik Malaysia.

teruk sangat ker sistem pelajaran UITM???? sebagai graduan UITM aku layak mengatakan bahawa sistem pelajaran UITM antara yang terbaik.

pendapat MB Selangor adalah pendapat peribadi tak payah ler buat demo... sepatutnya pelajar tu semua jangan cepat melatah tetapi aku rasakan ada dalang yang cucuk memandangkan yang menyuarakan pandapat datang dari PR kan? pasal apa depa buat demo tak kena tahan atau FRU hambat????? jangan depa, nak kelentong aku pasal berdemostrasi sebab aku pernah berdemo dan aku tau hak2 aku sebagai warga Malaysia. demo tu tentu ada dalangnya... bukankah student IPTA kalu terlibat dengan demo dikira melanggar AUKU???

Sebelum 8 Mac 2008 tak kecoh pun pasal 10% kemasukan kuota bukan Melayu ke IPTA khasnya di bawah kelolaan MARA. Sebaliknya isu ini sengaja digembar-gemburkan apabila telah wujudnya PR dan cadangan itu pula keluar dari mulut pemimpin PR.

padahal isu menetapkan kuota 10% untuk pelajar bukan bumiputera ke IPTA sudahpun diumumkan oleh kerajaan BN pada tahun 2002 yang pada ketika itu PM nya ialah Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. tiada sebarang bantahan daripada pimpinan UMNO sebaliknya seorang demi seorang menyokong keputusan tersebut dengan pelbagai alasan. kenapa baru sekarang nak kata macam2 ???? kenapa tak dak sapa pun nak demo masa tu??

kalu isu nak meningkatkan tarap pendidikan UITM, faktor2 lain juga perlu dikaji... samada kemasukan pelajar bangsa lain boleh menaikkan taraf profesionalism UITM? atau pendidikan dan mentaliti pensyarah UITM juga menyumbang kepada kekurangan tahap pendidikan UITM???? hhhmmmmm.... kena ler ada satu badan berkecuali yang buat penyelidikan.

aku bukannya marah tapi bengang sebab orang melayu ini cepat sangat suka menunding jari kepada orang lain dalam satu2 perkara. lepas tu kaitkan dengan ketuanan melayu dan tunjuk keris, cheapscake sungguh! lame! lame! lame!

tapi...kebetulan yang meragukan kan? semuanya terjadi sebelum pilihanaya kecil bersejarah ini. sumpah kena liwat, isu bukan bumi di UITM, cakap2 antara umno dan pas dan gementar 16 september???? sungguh meragukan...

.

aku doakan semoga Allah tunjukkan jalan terbaik dimana kemenangan adalah bagi pihak yang benar dan seterusnya mampu memikul tanggungjawab di hari muka... am I asking too much??? nasib tak baik aku tak mengundi 26hb nanti hehehehe :P

Earth Day 2008

Hey! Today is Earth Day… after what we have done to her, just for today, do avoid yourself from making more pollutions to the Mother for all… let jez freeze and relax for awhile. She is all what we have right now and she is offering it less and less… we already consume more than she can provide…

I remember the first time I heard of earth Day was in 1990 back to ITM days. My ex-boyfriend at that time (now my hubby la.. hehe) was performing a show on saving Earth and I was invited to watch the performance. Ala… citer lama ler nih…

Now Earth Day has been widely known in Malaysia. Thanks to Hitz Morning Crew this morning, who brought up the issue and poke with this idea. I love those gila2 guys!

So what are we doing to keep our Mother happy? This is what I do… probably its less than you do but at least I am working on it. J In fact I am teaching and showing my children why we must protect our planet. Maybe you can tiru me also, I don’t mind…

I recycle of course!

• I don’t litter and teach my children to throw rubbish at the right place.


• Print in draft mode


• Reduce printing by using online transaction


• Save paper by using it as many time as you can, double print or cut it to pieces


• Differentiate your garbage organic and non organic waste


• Plant trees and vegetables


• Use environmental friendly soap and detergent


• Re-use plastic bags, plastic containers and boxes


• Switch off the lights and plugs that not in use i.e. air conditioning, water heater


• Use less water i.e. close water tap while brushing teeth


• At work, turn off PC, printer, copy machines and lights when going out especially for lunch


• Reduce, reuse, and recycle office products – papers, printer inks, florescent bulbs, binders, plastic book cover, envelopes

Reduce:
