A Very Private Affair

We really had fun. Good food and good company, they are just hard to find but we managed to grab them, last nite.

We just decided that we ought to get together after working like a dog. After all, we didn't have to shell out for the food, hehehehe good huh?

We started by chatting casually.

The food and service were awe-inspiring. Our cuisine desire were fulfill with docile. Thank you Ms Lim and Laili for the extra mile that you all have gone through just to ensure our little private affair at 30th floor were memorable.

Wanna know what we had? Mouth watering delicacies, for sure...

The starter.

Shrimp with tomato, mango, cilantro and baby greens served with hazelnut dressing

Clear chicken broth with herb dumplings and julien of vegetables.

The taste is soft yet strong.

Baked snapper topped with pesto crust and boiled potatoes served with rosemary and garlic buerre blanc.

Chocolate creme brulee with coconut wafer and vanilla ice cream.

The taste is heaven on earth!

Aaaahhhh what to write huh? So many things happened but I don’t know where to start my stories…

Exactly a month ago, my company organized an annual dinner to staff in conjunction with its 40 years of existence. Khaty Ibrahim was the guest artiste and she is SUPERB! Semua orang gumbira dengan persembahan dia. Memang tak dapat dilupakan… She sang from oldies to current hits. Backing singers were her daughter and nieces. Two thumbs up! Tapik… memandangkan aku nih AJK Majlis Makan Malam yang bertugas dengan penuh dedikasi hingga sanggup mengenepikan kepentingan peribadi (fuyo, kalu Boss baca nih best la aku...), aku tak sempat amik gambar dengan dia, geram sungguh! :P

On the 1st January was my hubby’s birthday. He is 40 this year hehehe getting wiser I hope. I love U, hubby! Bought him 2 motivational books on leadership and achieving excellence in life and career. Heavy? Tak lah…

On the 20th January, my son, Azhad celebrate his 4th birthday. Mama loves you, Azhad. Dia dah pandai minta birthday cake. So we bought a small cake and the kids jumped on it straight away… hehehe lepas tu, mintak lagi kek sebab kata dia kek yang dulu tu dah basi... ada ka?

Ahhh yes… my hubby went to Dubai for 10 days. Gambar dia banyak tapi tak nak tampal kat sini sebab jeles…. hehehe

I have just finished reading Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince on the 3 February. It took me 3 weeks to finish it. Actually if I am not juggling the hat of a mother, a wifey, a dedicated manager and the eldest daughter, I would have finished it within a day. Yup! Have done that during student years. 24 hours straights without sleep hehehe. Now I understand why some people are Harry Potter fanatics. The book is worthy and adventurous, nicely written and able to lure me inside the book together clinging on the suspense. I was obsessed by the reading (not HARRY ok?) that I make myself available to MPH and bought the last book of Harry Potter. Is it the last book? I dare not say… Agree with Fiza that reading Harry Potter books are more satisfying rather then the film. Well, too many elements to consider in transferring sentences to pictorial. Plus, the grand factor of all, MONEY… but still… I enjoy watching Harry Potter movies.

Previous postings 29/11/2007 - Life Must Go On

Assalamualaikum and :)


Today is my father’s birthday. He is 59 and getting younger… I love U, Papa… Hope Allah blesses U and care for you as you care for me when I was small… Amin. I wouldn’t change a single moment with him. I cherish them all. He is now in Mekkah on duty of tending a group of pilgrimage for this hajj season. Hopefully he is in good health. I really miss him.


Ahhhh… Banyak betul perkara yang berlaku semenjak tulisan saya yang terakhir. Aliyah is already 4 months now and weighing almost 9kg. She is a really healthy baby hehehe. Keputusan UPSR Azim tak lah seperti yang dijangkakan. I was really hoping he get 5A. Tapi 4A 1B sememangnya ada peningkatan dalam pembelajarannya. Syukur alhamdulillah. Sedih gak sebab dengan keputusan tu, dia tak layak ke sekolah asrama penuh. Me and hubby take this as a good knock on our head. Sebagai ibu bapa mungkin kita kurang tunjuk ajar, kurang meluangkan masa dengan anak2 dan juga kurang berdoa. I have to admit that the last scenario was what I have done. Dok sibuk kerja dan benda2 lain, amal ibadat jadi ala kadar saja. Buat yang wajib ajer, langsung tak dak ibadah sunat. Hmmmmm…. A lesson well learnt for me and hubby.


But… dalam dok muhasabah diri ni, ada jugak berita gembiranya. My convocation was held last Monday, 19 November 2007. I finally graduated after 5 years of part time study. Obtaining the degree was amongst the best moment of my life. Terus terang saya katakan, bukan senang menjadi ibu, isteri, pekerja, pengurus, pelajar, anak dan menantu yang baik dalam satu masa tapi dengan keberkatan Allah dan sokongan keluarga, saya mengharungi semuanya... There with me on my convocation day was my hubby, who sacrifice his time and space taking care the young ones and Azim, my eldest whom I spent less quality time together. I really have to express my thanks from deep of my heart to Papa, Mama, Abah dan Mak for their support and doa all this while. Hanya Allah sahaja yang dapat membalasnya. I love you all… Keep moving forward, I am going to continue for my master degree next year. Another flying color I hope… lepas nih boleh la carik kerja lain hehehe. Kalu Boss baca nih, there goes my increment and bonus, larikkkkkkkkkk…


We bought Azim a gift for his UPSR achievement. He wanted a Sony Ericsson hand phone but since not obtaining 5A, we decided a MP4 player will do. Tak ler beli brand yang mahal like iPod or Sony, rebeh bahu beb! Bought him a Creative Zen MP4 instead. Budak2 zaman sekarang punya permainan bukan main mahal lagi ek? Apasal ler depa tak macam kita dulu main gasing ker? Guli ker? Batu seremban ker? Congkak ker? Tu tak masuk lagi Athirah punya Barbie dolls dan Azhad punya Mega Blocks. Ops…. Aliyah punya Fisher Price… alahai…. Anak 4 di KL nih umpama ada anak 10 di kampong perbelanjaannya. Entah2 lebih murah…


Satu lagi… cadang nak buat kenduri kesyukuran sikit tapi cadangan tarikh asyik kena tunda ajer. Macam2 aral… mudah2an jadik la plan nih… Aliyah dah 4 bulan pun belum buat potong jambul dia, ciyannnnnn dia… Abang and kakak ada majlis, kalu tak buat kat dia tak boley la kan?

First time...

Assalamualaikum and :) my dear friends,

Nampaknya blog saya dah pindah rumah baru! Harap2 rumah nih teguh dan tahan lama berbanding rumah lama hehehe

So, for this first time in the new house, I will post my last writings at the previous blog, just to let you guys feel @ home.
