Fancy some shrimps?????

I have been persuading my hubby to dine at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant and Market since it was opened. Biasak ler, tempat tu masa ada nasi dan asam pedas kan? Then suddenly on last Monday he suggested to have dinner there. Me? Apa lagi, gumbira ria ler...

The new restaurant in town is at 1st Floor of The Curve. Since it was a weekday, we managed to choose our spot not like weekends, you needed reservation there...

You will see this little shrimp logo everywhere inside and outside the diner. My first impression is the place is an eating place that provides a casual environment for everyone can enjoy good meal and having fun at the same time. The menu is mouth watering... droolling...

Our table... dalam tin tu ada tisu, sos tomato, sos cili, wet tissues and tabasco kalu tak silap...

We are being served by a guy waiter named Carlo. Very good garcon! Entertained us with stories and trivia from Forrest Gump movie and relate it to the real life Forrest Gump. Fuyo.... samada dia memang suka citer tu atau the management really brainwash the staff hahahahahahahahahahaaaaa

Abang Nawar ordered Mango Sparkler and I, trying something new with Speckled Lemonade Blueberry. Lepas tu tanya soklan cepumas, why my blueberry drink is not blue in color???? The girl yang hantar drinks tu terus blurrrrrrrr, aku sengih...

Masa Carlo amik order, dia siap citer macam2 pasal food diorang. Mamat nih tido kat opis ker sampai hafal semua citer disebalik menu? dah ler tu sopan santun pulak... hish! species macam gini dah susah nak dapat kat dunia...

This is what I ordered Bourbon Street Baramundi, sodapppppppppppp... mashed potatoes with 2 pieces of baked baramundi and shrimps with bourbon sauce. Sos dia macam ada rasa kunyit sikit. Hiasannya is the tortilla chips yang boleh dimakan... licin...

This is what Abang Nawar have that nite. Cajun Shrimp where shrimps (of course la kan... hehehe) sautéed in hot and spicy Cajun butter sauce served with garlic bread. The cajun sauce and the garlic bread are really chemistry! Va va voom!

Carlo siap pesan lagi kalu order menu yang belum pernah makan, rasa sikit dulu kalu tak kena selera boleh tukar tapi jangan ler dah brrrruuupppp pun nak tukar menu jugak yea... Carlo also shared with us how they really keep up to the quality of food and sometime he is sad that customers did not finish their food, such a waste... my heart is with you Carlo... I guess he is a Philipino, merantau jauh mencari rezeki di tanah orang lain...

Thanks Carlo for your hospitality and concern... Me and hubby really appreciate it... We sure coming back next weeks with the kids of course! This time I make sure to snap your photo...
